Spring/Summer Candles (B&BW)

Sorry guys, it's been a while. But i'm back with a bunch of new candles. Well actually I''ve had these at the start of spring and even had this post in my drafts without anything written but I've just gotten busy and had no time to edit. But, that gave me time to at least test out the candles so you guys can know my opinions, yeah? 

These six were the ones that I got excited about in the bath and body works store. They are all different and I love everyone of them. 

ALMOND

I love that this one is not using it's usual packaging. I think it looks really nice and honestly it's the only one I can't tell you what the throw is like because I haven't lit it. I thought it looked so nice as decor that I just left it. It smells really nice though.

TOKYO PETALS

I was really in love with this smell at first sniff. It's not strong or over powering but it has a soft, lovely, elegant kind of smell. It was quite nice. I had high hopes for it being possibly one of my favourites of this bunch but of course when I lit it, the throw was not there. I'm not kidding, I would have it lit for hours and I wouldn't smell anything unless I was really close. How unfortunate. I could smell it a little bit better the second time but still not enough.

BLUE OCEAN WAVES

(Notes: Ocean Breeze, Citrus Sea Spray, Creamy Sandalwood)

I'm loving the packaging of this one. This wasn't one of my first choices, it was probably the last one I picked at the store but I liked it well enough to buy it. It gets nicer every time I sniff it. It's a nice fresh smell, great for the summer.

SALT FLOWER

(Notes: Soft Ocean Air, Costal Orchids, Golden Sunrays)

I don't know what it is about this one but I was obsessed with it right away. When I smell it, I feel like I'm walking into some small local business selling some kind of natural beauty and bath products by the shore. I can't really explain it. It isn't your typical fresh smell, nor sweet and floral smells. I've lit it once and the throw was great. I noticed days later I would still get whiffs of it out of nowhere. I would just be sitting on the couch for a while and suddenly I would smell it without being next to it. It would drift across the room without even being lit. Definitely one of my favourites

RAINFOREST GARDENIA

(Notes: Classic White Gardenia, Sweet Apple Water, Bamboo White Woods)

This one really does smell like a rainforest. It makes me feel like i'm walking outside and I love it. The throw is really powerful, you'll smell it pretty quickly. I had it burning for hours one rainy day and my sister hated it! She was making fake puking noises she hated it that much. She is crazy. If you like outdoor smells you will like this one. She took the candle later and asked her boyfriend to smell it and he said it was nice and she replied with "omg, you actually likes that?" She then came to me later and said "Omg, he actually liked the smell of that candle." And just yesterday I was at the store with another friend and he smelled that candle and he loved it. My sister is just overdramatic I think. 

WATERMELON LEMONADE 

(Note: Watermelon Ice, Sparkling Water, Meyer Lemon) 

I think you can already imagine what this one smells like. It's great! It does have that fruity smell so if that's what you're into, you'll like this one. I just have it sitting in my room with the lid off and it so easily drifts through my room. I gave two of my sisters the wall plug refill versions of this candle for their rooms and they love it.
